Assembly

Audience: Kinder 2 through Year 8 
  
Assembly is an activity that serves as a window from the classroom into the school community. During this moment, students present content, projects, learning, and experiences developed throughout their lessons, sharing what they are learning with their peers and the wider school community. 
  
It is an important opportunity for student agency, as the students presenting develop communication, expression, organization, and confidence skills. At the same time, the students in the audience also learn, practicing listening, empathy, respect, and appreciation for their classmates’ work. 
  
Assembly is, therefore, a moment of exchange within the school community, in which the content explored in the classroom gains visibility and is shared in a meaningful way.
