What's happening
At Colégio Progresso Bilíngue Vinhedo, the vibrant spirit of our community shapes every part of school life. Students, families, and teachers come together to create an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
Nestled in the welcoming and family-friendly city of Vinhedo, our school reflects the town’s safety, quality of life, and strong sense of community.
I chose Progresso Vinhedo for my older daughter and now also for my younger one because I believe in a well-rounded education.
The bilingual program, activities such as ballet, judo, chess, and basketball, and the constant encouragement of reading—which is essential for our family—have always delighted us.

I believe that the admissions process begins with the first contact, even before the visit.
A warm phone call to confirm the appointment and receive them prepared for the main questions. Always use the three pearls of service: empathy, active listening, clear communication

We moved to Louveira in January 2022, and Progresso was the school we chose for our children.
It was the right choice: we have had excellent experiences and, with each passing year, we notice significant progress in their development—intellectually, socially, and personally. We are happy to be part of this school community and hope that our partnership will continue for many years to come.

I joined Progresso in 2019. Since then, I have earned several medals, but this one in astronomy felt different.
Representing Progresso made me very proud. I feel inspired by my teachers and classes, and I hope to keep growing here until I graduate, opening new paths for my future.

I joined Progresso in the second year of High School, and it was a milestone in my life.
When I arrived, I made many friends; everyone was always very welcoming to me. These are friendships I will keep for life, and I think Progresso really has this sense of community.

The decision to change schools in the middle of the school year was accompanied by many doubts and anxieties.
After the warm welcome and the outstanding professionalism we noticed at Colégio Progresso, the decision became easy. We choose (every single day!) Colégio Progresso because the results are evident in Luísa’s academic development, and more than that: in her happiness and eagerness to go to Colégio Progresso every day!

For 15 years, Progresso has been part of my life and has become a very special place for me.
Here I have experienced memorable moments, forged bonds, learnt something new every day, found support in my work, and had the privilege of witnessing the growth of many students. I am grateful for every experience I have had and for being part of this story, which is also, in a way, my own.

With the arrival of ISP at the school, many things changed—and they changed for the better!
The first difference is related to student care and well-being. Students are now seen with greater care, attention, and commitment. This has created a greater sense of safety and comfort when learning, because we know we have support and that, if we feel unwell, there is a team prepared to help us.

Our admissions process is the first trust connection between the family and the school, offering clear, welcoming, and personalized guidance.
From the first contact, we seek effective communication and transparency, making the experience smooth and guided so that families can choose the ideal environment for the development of their children.

Student voice against bullying
Families have a direct voice with leadership through Coffee with the Principal. Twice a year for each year level, coordinators invite six families to represent the group. In these small, welcoming meetings, families and the principal discuss strengths, areas for improvement, suggestions and aspects of the school they value and wish to see preserved.
This open dialogue helps leadership stay close to families’ perceptions, respond to needs and co-create solutions, reinforcing transparency, trust and shared responsibility for students’ experience.
New families get a warm, authentic first experience of the school through the monthly Pedagogical Coffee. Parents enjoy a relaxed coffee with pedagogical leadership, hear about the educational proposal and ask questions, while also taking a guided tour of the campus.
At the same time, children participate in artistic, sports and maker activities, experiencing the school’s spaces and daily life for themselves. This format offers a welcoming, hands-on introduction that helps families feel confident, informed and connected from the very beginning of their journey.
Families feel closer to their child’s learning through regular, hands-on class meetings. Every two months, teachers lead meetings organized by class to present the content students are learning and share how it is taught.
Often, parents are invited to experience a practical lesson themselves - for example, taking part in a division class to see how the concept is explained. These meetings strengthen the partnership between home and school, helping families understand the teaching approach and support both academic progress and socio-emotional growth at home.
Students become active agents for respect and inclusion by creating projects on bullying and social responsibility. Throughout the year, they research, reflect and design initiatives that address bullying, empathy and citizenship in age-appropriate ways.
These projects are presented to families during the Cultural Fair, where students share their ideas, explain the impact they want to achieve and invite the community to take part. This experience strengthens student voice, reinforces what they learn in socio-emotional lessons and builds a shared commitment to a safe, inclusive school culture.
