Elisete Prado
Head of School/DSL
Elisete is an education professional with 25 years of experience across a range of school leadership roles, including principalship, educational counseling, and academic coordination. She's dedicated to the holistic development of students, the growth of teachers, and the creation of innovative and inclusive learning environments.
She serves as Head of School at Colégio Progresso Bilíngue Itu, part of International Schools Partnership. In this role, she continues to promote teaching practices aligned with international standards, nurture the development of global citizens, and strengthen a culture of educational innovation.
Her mission is to help make education ever more transformative, connected to the demands of the 21st century, and inspiring for students, families, and educators.
Safeguarding team
Our Safeguarding Leaders are approachable and easy to find, with posters around the school showing students exactly who they can talk to.
Weekly community updates
Safeguarding reminders appear in the school’s weekly bulletin, keeping families and students informed about the support options available.
Programa Semente
Our students develop socio-emotional skills through the Semente Programme, building the confidence and resilience needed to recognise needs, collaborate with others, and support overall well-being.
Daily counselor support
Our guidance counsellors provide daily support with friendships, social skills, and conflict resolution, supporting students’ wellbeing at every stage of their development.
Anti-bullying and digital safety
Specialist-led sessions on bullying and digital safety give students practical tools to make safe decisions while promoting respect, inclusion, and a positive community.
Psychological support
Guided by our counsellors, psychologists provide one-to-one and group sessions, helping students develop mental well-being and feel supported both inside and outside the classroom.
