Colégio Progresso Educação LTDA provides educational services, and Progresso Editora LTDA supplies teaching materials. Together, these companies manage the Student Portal (TOTVS), a platform that facilitates access to information about school life.

2. What data do we collect?

We collect only the data necessary to provide our educational services and supply teaching materials. This data mainly comes from the educational services agreement and the teaching materials supply agreement. Examples include:

  • Student data: Full name, date of birth, CPF, ID card number, grade/year level, academic records, health information (if provided by you, such as allergies or medical conditions), photos and videos (when authorized).
  • Parent/guardian data: Full name, CPF, ID card number, address, telephone number, email, bank details (for payment).
  • Data generated at school: Grades, attendance, performance reports, behavior records, and communications through the Student Portal and dedicated app.

3. Why do we use this data?

The data is collected for specific purposes, such as:

  • Enrolling the student and managing their school life.
  • Providing teaching materials appropriate to their grade level.
  • Facilitating communication between the school, parents/guardians, and students through the Student Portal and the AgendaEdu platform.
  • Complying with legal obligations, such as sending information to the Ministry of Education or the Department of Education.
  • Ensuring the student’s safety, for example by using health data in emergencies.
  • Promoting school events and recording activities (photos and videos, when authorized).

4. How do we use AgendaEdu?

We use AgendaEdu, a secure platform, to send notices, announcements, assignments, and information about daily school life. For this purpose, we share data such as the student’s name, grade level, and parents’/guardians’ contact information. AgendaEdu complies with LGPD rules and is our partner in processing this data.

5. How do we store and protect your data?

The data is stored in secure digital systems, such as the Student Portal (TOTVS Cloud), and, when necessary, in protected physical files. We use security measures such as passwords, encryption, and access control to prevent unauthorized persons from accessing the information. We keep the data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described or to comply with the law.

6. With whom do we share the data?

The data may be shared with:

  • Partners such as AgendaEdu (for school communication).
  • Service providers (e.g. technology or accounting companies), always under contracts that ensure data protection.
  • Public authorities, when required by law (e.g. Ministry of Education or courts).

We do not sell or transfer your data for commercial purposes.


7. Use of image and voice

Photos, videos, or voice recordings of students may be used in school activities, such as events, bulletin boards, social media, or institutional materials, but only with prior authorization from the parents/guardians, in accordance with the EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AND TEACHING MATERIALS SUPPLY AGREEMENT, clause 19. You may revoke this permission at any time by contacting the school unit.
