Students at Progresso Bilíngue Santos take part in Maker Mindset activities, where hands-on learning sparks curiosity and innovation. Maker spaces and science labs provide the environment for students to experiment, investigate, and turn creative ideas into reality. Collaboration and problem-solving are at the heart of every project, helping students develop resilience and leadership as they take on real-world challenges and build a confident mindset for creating.
Students use technology as a tool for creativity and collaboration, working with Chromebooks and digital projects in the classroom. Digital literacy is developed through the critical navigation of information, effective online communication, and the use of digital tools to solve problems and express ideas Students become responsible, innovative digital citizens, ready to adapt and lead in a connected world.
Students are encouraged to take ownership of their own learning, setting personal goals and exploring interests that spark curiosity. Students at Progresso Bilíngue Santos open doors to global opportunities, preparing for international experiences and pathways. Individualized support is provided for those who wish to apply to universities abroad, with specialist guidance throughout the application process. Academic and social-emotional preparation, combined with focused training for international certifications, gives students the confidence and skills to pursue their ambitions on a global stage.

Individual Research Project (TPI)
Through the Semente Program, students strengthen their social-emotional skills through hands-on activities and well-defined routines. They develop responsibility, empathy, and social awareness, becoming resilient learners who build positive, lasting relationships.
In every lesson, students gain the tools to face challenges, support their peers, and stand out as ethical leaders, prepared for life at school and beyond.
Maker Mindset projects turn ideas into action as students explore and create through hands-on experiences. Guided by structured methodologies and rich resources, they develop meaningful projects that connect with their interests.
By combining creativity, collaboration, and digital literacy, students build confidence and independence, turning imagination into innovation applied to the real world.
Every March, students from Grade 6 through Grade 11 begin their Individual Research Project (TPI), a year-long investigation guided by a faculty advisor. They choose a topic, conduct in-depth research, and present their findings in August.
The process strengthens writing, critical thinking, and public speaking, building confidence and intellectual independence while celebrating the spirit of inquiry and discovery.
