Portuguese

Give voice, create texts, and grow together

Students read, write, and share their ideas. They ask questions, listen to classmates, and discuss important topics. Through projects and group discussions, they collaborate and learn together, gaining confidence to communicate and create.

In Portuguese, reading, interpretation, and writing are connected with culture and citizenship. In this way, every page read and every text written expands  vocabulary, creativity, and independence.

Portuguese

Music

Express through rhythm and sound

Students deepen their knowledge of music, developing rhythmic and melodic skills while practicing active listening and creative expression. As they explore diverse cultural styles, traditions, and historical contexts, they cultivate cultural appreciation and artistic sensitivity.

Singing, playing instruments, joining sound-based games, and composing music strengthen coordination, concentration, aesthetic awareness, and a sense of cultural identity and belonging.

Visual Art

Imagine and create

Students experiment with a variety of materials, techniques, and visual languages, developing imagination, creativity, and personal expression. As their skills progress, their work shows greater aesthetic sophistication, with attention to composition, color, shape, and texture, while also encouraging thoughtful appreciation of their own work and the work of others.

Art connects with the world around them, encouraging the interpretation and appreciation of diverse cultural works and building a rich visual repertoire.

History

Discover stories of change

History explores human actions across time and space, seeking to understand social, political, economic, and cultural change. It addresses the formation of national and global identities, the analysis of past and present civilizations, and critical thinking about the present through the lens of the past.

It helps shape citizens who can reflect on society and history, avoid one-sided perspectives, and engage in meaningful debate.

History

Geography

Discover the world

Geography explores geographic space and the relationship between society and nature. Students work on location skills, as well as reading and interpreting maps, graphs, and tables, alongside analyzing landscapes, territories, and regions.

Topics such as the use of natural resources, urbanization, climate, and quality of life strengthen social and environmental awareness. In this way, students learn to observe the world, understand inequalities, and value biodiversity, developing a critical view of the spaces they inhabit.

Geography

Physical Education

Move, play, and discover

In Physical Education, students progressively strengthen motor skills, coordination, balance, agility, and endurance. Collaborative games reinforce teamwork, empathy, respect for rules, and cooperation, prioritizing enjoyment and shared learning over competition.

These experiences show movement as a form of personal expression, social connection, and well-being, creating the foundation for a healthy and active life from an early age.

Physical Education

Math

Learn to solve everyday challenges

Mathematics strengthens logical reasoning, problem-solving, and understanding of the world through numerical and abstract concepts. Students study numbers, algebra, geometry, measurement, and statistics, using graphs and tables as tools.

The focus is mathematical literacy: applying this knowledge in daily life and across other subject areas. In this way, students connect mathematics to reality, gain independence, and understand that numbers help them read, interpret, and transform the world.

Math

Science

Explore how the world works

Science explores natural and technological phenomena, bringing together Biology, Physics, and Chemistry in the later years of Elementary School and in High School. Students study the solar system, the characteristics of objects, life, and the evolution of living things.

The goal is to understand scientific methods, strengthen an investigative mindset, and build arguments based on data. In this way, students understand the relationship between science, technology, society, and the environment, and engage with the world critically.

Language

Explore stories, voices, and ideas

Through Literary Projects, students strengthen reading, interpretation, and analysis through increasingly complex texts. Carefully selected works spark dialogue about social, cultural, and human themes, connecting literature to real life and critical thinking.

Through debates, creative writing, and immersive experiences, they cultivate a love of language, broaden their perspectives, and connect school with the wider world. In this way, they read with depth, write with originality, and see literature as a way to understand and transform reality.

Semente Program

Learn to care and collaborate

Students develop social-emotional skills through the Semente Program, with activities adapted to each stage of development. Playful exercises, moments of reflection, and group interaction promote self-awareness, empathy, emotional regulation, independence, and positive relationships.

As they face challenges and celebrate achievements, students strengthen emotional intelligence and develop a strong sense of belonging within a welcoming community.
